Cleaning Procedures

With well-established processes and procedures, we are well-equipped at Evernest to respond to the unique challenges presented by Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have adapted our cleaning programmes in UAE to reinforce existing procedures in line with official guidance and our expert in-house Operations team remain dedicated to ensuring each home is cleaned to a professional standard before and after each stay. We are constantly monitoring the advice given by the World Health Organisation, and UAE authorities, and are working closely with our partners to ensure we are delivering the highest levels of safety for everyone concerned.

Step 1:

Keeping People Safe

The safety of our guests, hosts and colleagues is of the utmost priority and our staff are all now wearing protective equipment when attending an Evernest property, as well as carrying antibacterial gel to help reduce the risk of contamination and spreading. We are allowing up to 72 hours between check-out and post-stay cleans if any guests at the property have experienced symptoms, to allow time for potential germs and/or bacteria to die and to help minimise the risk of spreading. What’s more, to reduce the risk where staff are required to attend a property in-stay, we are asking that during this time all occupants are either in a separate room or leave the property for this period.

Step 2:

Professional Cleaning

It can take up to 4 hours for our team to clean and disinfect a two bedroom property to the level of cleanliness and with the attention to detail we require. In response to the pandemic we are now allowing further time per property for increased cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces such as door handles, tables, chairs, handrails, kitchen and bathroom surfaces, kettles, taps, toilets, light switches and remote controls. As always, our housekeeping teams are paying special care to ensuring that cleaning & disinfecting chemical guidelines are being followed to ensure maximum effectiveness. Where possible, our cleaning teams will use disposable products for disinfecting, in order to further reduce the risk of contamination.

Step 3:

Home Set UP

Once the property is professionally cleaned, the home set-up can begin. At Evernest, we provide hotel-quality linen, towels and toiletries for each stay, so that guests can enjoy hotel-style amenities within the comfort of a private home. In order to ensure the highest level of safety, we are working closely with our partners to ensure that all linen is washed at high temperatures for optimal disinfection. Post set-up and before a guest checks in, we make sure that each home passes our Quality Assurance, this includes running a final test on the home features to ensure that everything is in working order.
